PRE- DAY FIVE

Here I am on Day Five.

Not only am I happy that I have managed to go this entire week without cheating on my diet and maintaining keeping my exercise in, I have continued to keep my progress updated on this blog and in the group that I am part of.

Several times I have sat back and thought, "Who is this guy and what happened to the old me?" My own answer is that I just completely made the decision to change this time and I am continuing to make that decision everyday.


There is one to think about- I am making the decision everyday, every hour, every minute. I do not even mean that I am thinking about this all the time, but in some ways I am. I have been paying attention to how my body responds to certain things, foods, exercises, etc. Pretty cool as far as I am concerned.

I am still having some trouble eating early in the morning. However, I did manage to eat earlier this morning than usual, so that is a start. Luckily I work from home so it makes my eating easier for me to do.

Workout today:

Upper Body (BoFlex):

Bench Press: 1 set of 12 reps at 50 lbs
Bicep Curls: 1 set of 12 reps at 30 lbs
Tricep Extensions: 1 set of 12 reps at 30 lbs
Shoulder raises: 1 set of 12 reps at 20 lbs
Seated Rows: 1 set of 12 reps at 50 lbs

Repeat 4 times for the 5/25 workout.

Nutrition:

M1: EAS Protein Shake with frozen strawberries and Silk almond milk
M2: Deli Sliced Mediteranean Chicken on Honey Wheat bread with 2 slices of Havarti Cheese
M3: 30 Red Grapes
M4: Knorr Broccoli & Chicken Pasta Sides mixed with Japanese Blend Vegetables and a Chicken Breast diced up
M5: 30 Red Grapes

I still need to modify my nutrition a little bit, but it is soooo much better than what I have been eating in the past!

Well, that is it until tomorrow.
