I pushed myself the hardest that I ever have on my cardiovascular
workout today. When I was ready to give in I pushed myself more and made
it through to the end.<br>

Additionally I decided to delete my Facebook account. I know this may
seem non-sequiter to a transformation blog but it isn’t. Stay with me
for a moment.<br>

Through this transformation challenge I have started to re-evaluate
my life. I have been looking at what I consider most important in my

Between lack of sleep,
lacking the proper exercise I am beginning to feel it both physically
and emotionally. Today was just as bad. My hip was feeling much better
but I felt like I wanted to give it one more day to heal further and do a
good cardiovascular workout tomorrow.<br>

I messed up twice on the nutrition so I won’t even post that. Let’s just say it was bad and leave it at that.<br>
Tomorrow I am going to set new goals for the coming week and really
get in the discipline that it requires to make it happen. I will
consider today my free day and not take one on Sunday.<br>

Today was pretty rough for me. I was unable to get in any exercise.
It was partly due to some hip pain I am experiencing that I do not want
to aggravate any further. I am letting it heal a bit before engaging in
any more exercise on it.<br>

learned a very valuable lesson today in how important sleep is during this
transformation. In order to transform the machine, you need fuel, work, and rest.

about three nights I have had trouble sleeping yet still had to get up early.

I have often wondered at what makes me desire to do some things and be able
to push through whatever barriers come my way and some things, not so much.<br>

I have found that with this program this time I have a burning desire to
transform this machine into something healthy, energetic and alive. What

of sugar yesterday. It gave me even more certainty on how food affects
the body and ultimately affects how you feel spiritually.<br>

I had a lot of trouble getting to sleep last night so I slept in this morning which caused me to get a late start on the day.<br>
<br>
Today was going to be my lower body workout day but I really wanted
to get in some cardiovascular exercise as well. So, about 30 minutes
after lunch I went out and did a 3 mile fast paced walk. It took about
53 minutes to do it.<br>

I am sitting here writing this and I feel so horrible I cannot
believe it. What is crazy is that this is pretty much how I used to feel
most of the time. I think I became so accustomed to feeling this way
that I just did not notice it anymore.<br>

It is amazing what effect food can have on the body. I feel
lethargic, restless and my stomach feels nauseous. Today I ate pizza,
chips, soda and cheesecake. I believe my body is very mad at me for what
I have done to it.<br>

of all, I have been slacking a bit on the eating healthy. I have been
keeping in 6 smaller meals per day but not all of them have been
healthy. I could tell that I have slowly been allowing my old eating
habits to slip in again.<br><br>However, today, 3 seperate people
commented that they noticed my belly is getting smaller. One of them was

instead of the bike. I took my phone with my nifty Endomondo app to
track my speed and calories. <br>

While it showed I did not burn as
many calories as I do on the bike, the workout did get me almost out of
breath and the muscles over my shins were burning from the pace. So,
overall it was pretty good but not really as intense as I would have
liked. However, I think I need to build up more by doing this first
before I get into jogging too much. <br>

the official workout room. Up until now it has been a junk room with
random boxes and what not lying around. Now it is my "transformation

I took the bike out for a 4.62 mile ride in 25 minutes. I
was a little concerned at first because when I first woke up this morning my
calves and quads were quite sore from my LBWO yesterday. However, I started my
cardio slow to warm up the muscles before I started the official time on it.
All went well. I feel that I did a really intense workout today, so I am happy about
that part.<br>

Today went pretty good for me. I kept in my nutrition which I consider
one of the most important aspects of this journey. I truly believe it is
more than half of the battle in changing to my healthy new lifestyle. <br>

My cardio workout today was not as intense as I wanted, but I got it done. <br>

However,
I think I have found a temporary solution to working my Quads, which
was a problem I wrote about in an earlier blog. Due to the limitations
of my Bowflex I could not get the burn I needed for my quads. I found
out today that setting my mountain bike to a lower gear it really works
out that muscle group. My legs are feeling it tonight. <br>
