PRE- DAY 6

Here I sit on the last day of my first week on the road to healthier living. Today is my weigh in day. I decided to weigh myself each Saturday during this challenge.

While I only lost 1 pound, I did at least LOSE 1 pound. My goal was to lose 2 pounds.

I cannot lie and say I am not disappointed, but I am not taking a loss on it. Since it was my first week and I was sort of getting everything together as I went and having to remember the information I have known from the past and gaining new knowledge from the amazing group of people I joined at the beginning of the week I do not think it went overall badly.


Positive results:

  • I do physically feel much better today than I have been in the past.
  • I kept the eating better in everyday except for one night; my best yet!
  • I did workout every day.
  • I overcame and did not succumb to an amazing craving for soda that hit me last night.

It is now time to step up my commitment to what I am doing and why. I am going to grab on to the knowledge and forward progress and persist. There is no going back now. Even if it has only been one week, I feel I have come too far, put too much energy and effort into this already to just give up.
